Central Library

  • Looking Back…

The Library of Raja Peary Mohan College was established in 1927 with approximately 1000 books, mostly obtained through donations from the founder members. For several years, the library was located in one of the small classrooms of the earlier hostel building. However, with time, as the number of books increased, the library had to be shifted to a larger space. In 1963, a separate hall on the 3rd floor became functional as the ‘Central Library’, thus fulfilling the long-standing academic hunger of the users. In 2018 the Central Library was shifted to the Ground floor of the new building to make it more accessible to the users.

  • Our motto: "Right Document to the Right Reader at the Right Time”
