Students' Code of Conduct

  • The College expects the students to be highly focused on academics and make maximum use of the facilities available for holistic development.
  • Admission to the College binds a student to observe College rules and all directives that may be issued by the College authority from time to time.
  • All students are accountable to the Principal for their conduct in College.
  • Students must be courteous to teachers, fellow students and employees of the college.
  • Every student must carry an identity card inside the college campus.
  • Students must be punctual and attend their classes regularly.
  • Students must not use mobile phones during class lectures and practical classes.
  • Students are advised to read the notices carefully every day.
  • Any student found guilty of damaging College property or of any other form of indiscipline like writing on/defacing walls will be severely punished.
  • Students must not loiter and shout in the corridors during class hours.
  • Students must not enter the Office, Principal’s Room, Professors’ Room, or Bursar’s Room except on genuine business and that too with due permission.
  • No meeting or conference in the name of the college or any organization can be held within the college premises without prior permission from the Principal.
  • All College excursions and outings require prior permission from the Principal.
  • Any ill-treatment, both physical and verbal based on caste, gender or religion shall be strictly dealt with.
  • Smoking and spitting are forbidden on the College premises.
  • Ragging, in any form, is strictly prohibited.

 

  • Names of the students are struck off from College Register on the following grounds:
    • Gross misconduct
    • Irregular/unsatisfactory attendance
    • Failure to appear in the examination
    • Adoption of unfair means in the examination
    • Non-payment of tuition fees consecutively for more than two months and/or college dues by specified due dates
    • Non-return of library books within the due date
    • Unsatisfactory progress
    • Violation of College Code of Conduct and discipline.
