Project Green-lite which has been initiated in the year 2021 takes a new leap with “CHIROHARIT” in the year 2022 were APC Roy Eco-Club members are continuously thriving to propagate more and more plant saplings so that it can be distributed to students as a token of green initiatives. So far many plants are being propagated under this unit and slowly they are being distributed.
OUTCOME OF THE INITITIATIVE : • Students will be able to differentiate between the vegetative and reproductive of plant • Students will be able to know about the plants that can thrive in almost indoor condition • The college has a deficiency of open area thus carrying out such a huge plant sapling unit will encourage the student about the proverb “ where there is a will there isa way” • They will be encouraged about home gardening. • They are made aware about the importance of planting. • They are often engaged in outside campus plantation program which encourages the concept of re forestation and conservation of forest. • They will start to acknowledge and accept our dependence on mother earth. • Last but not the least a leisurely knowledge can develop into future earning method – for developing nursery . • The college encourages students for self employment through this initiative.
